This genuine tone monster is the Azuki Metallic coated J-Standard Mighty Jazz II. Masterfully built by FGN, this supreme J-style four-string bass wields the punch and definition of a pair of Seymour Duncan Quarter-Pounders. The intonation, harmonics, and sustain are elevated through the roof by FNG's Circle Fretting System, which ensures that minimal contact between the string and fret is required to produce a clean note, and the string angle in relation to the frets is very slightly shifted to correct the intonation flaws of standard fretting systems. Add that to the bolt-on maple neck, the rosewood fretboard and the 12 inch fretboard radius, and you're treated to a fully honed, high-precision tool.

Seymour Duncan Quarter-Pounder Pickups & Push-Pull Functionality

The Seymour Duncan SJB-3 and SMB-4d Quarter Pound pickups have been mounted in a tried-and-trusted JP configuration, and can be flipped from series to parallel via the neat push-pull switch which doubles as your tone control. A volume pot per pickup is also supplied for accurate balancing and blending, and to finish, the heel pocket has been modified to refine the sonic presence of this bass as well as allow smooth and comfortable access to the higher frets; and a full set of Gotoh machine heads have been fitted to provide acclaimed tuning stability.
